Bio as seen in her website:
"Erica Lord is an interdisciplinary artist who explores concepts that exist within a contemporary Indigenous experience. Born to a Finnish-American mother and an Athabaskan/ Iñupiat father, her experience of perpetually moving between locations inspires her work’s interest in themes of displacement, cultural identity, and cultural limbo. Exhibitions include The DeVos Museum of Art, Marquette; the Museum of Contemporary Native Art, Santa Fe; Musée du Quai Branley, Paris; the National Gallery of Canada; and the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian, among others.
