Learning the names of landscapes in Bodewadmin is the cooolest. 

THe name of an area like Milwaukee describes a sweet fertile land..  in my own poetry I’ve described it as a place where its cold but get very warm too and there is plenty of fresh water, fresh life.. and intersection of wild winds.. its a cultural swirling swat for the tongues of any nations: a sweet fertile place. Good Land.

So a land called Green Bay in English, makes me think Gold and Green, Underdog, Lambeau Field. 

A land called kwikwiyak might describe a place of ending water, corner or bay .. a nook 

An assimilated descendant of These wetlands might call it, MarshyWatersWithBIrchTreeIslands : where the waters still, were peace resides, home to many feathers, the ancestral Bay lands my brother and i walked at, the place where the sun sets in pure gold
